ancestor worship
do we remember the feelings of our ancestors? do we feel the feelings of them? do we feel how they felt? they are in us. we carry them like a long memory stretching from the back of the head all the way back all the way back

i often think this. i thought it yesterday when i was staring at some poppies in a vase by my bed. they (poppies) always seem really old fashioned to me, and i was thinking of people past who had stared at them and i kinda felt how they were feeling and what they were thinking. i want to say more about this at some point.
i also feel this when i am working on my patients
